The Anoka Nature Preserve is the newest park in Anoka and it is spread to more than 200 acres of protected preserve. It consists of forested oak savanna, grassland and meadow which are convenient for prairie restoration and also for wetland backwaters. This nature preserve covers the northwest boundary of the Anoka city and is also bordered by the Rum River on the west side. As spring starts to begin, one can see the birds migrate through the woods of the preserve.
