Bloomington: Parks and Gardens

Opened in 1972, the Normandale Japanese Garden is two acre of strolling garden having a pond, bridges, a lagoon, islands, hand craved lanterns, a waterfall, and beautifully manicured trees and shrubs maintained in an authentic Japanese traditional style. This garden is situated on the Normadale Community College campus in Bloomington. The garden is open year round and the timings can vary during any such special events. Children under the age of twelve are not allowed to visit the garden without any elder supervision. There is also a provision of self guided tour brochure which is inside the square shelter.
