Burnsville Mall is known to be one of the larger enclosed malls in Minnesota having 150 stores and 1,100,000 square feet. This mall opened in 1977 when Joe Rimnac sold purchased farmland to Homart Development. But, the mall at present is owned by CBL & Associates, a company having 70 malls throughout the United States. Some of the major stores in Burnsville Mall are JCPenney, Sears and Macy’s. There is also provision of wheelchair accessibility, ATM facility, food stalls and such restaurants at the mall.
