Canal Park is situated on Lakeshore, which is a notable spot for Duluth. It is an area which is bustling with tourists in search of sweets, shops, good food, and antiques and to get awesome view of the ships going in and out from the Canal Park. Actually, this is a tourist and a recreation oriented district of Duluth and is connected by Aerial Lift Bridge to the Park Point sandbar and neighborhood. The park is conversion of old warehouse district into shops, restaurants and hotels along with cafes. Canal Park area is witness to the annual Bayfront Blues Festival along with the Grandma’s Marathon. There are many attractions in Canal Park namely a three mile long lake walk, Lake Superior Maritime Visitor Center, Great Lakes Aquarium, a lighthouse pier, the William A Irvin floating ship museum and many such attractions. The Park is also home of broadcast studios for four radio stations of Red Rock Radio.
