In 2006, Duluth city designated a cultural pathway in honor of its native son, Bob Dylan, to commemorate his 85th birthday. Since then, a group of citizens has raised private dollars to create and to install thirty street signs to mark the pathway. This is a 1.8 mile of street which winds through Duluth’ s downtown and extends from Michigan Street to 15th Avenue East and London Road. This street follows segments of three major arteries, the London Road, the Michigan Street and the Superior Street.
