Hopkins lies on Minneapolis’s western side. The area of this city is around 4 sq. miles. Moreover, it’s surrounded by bigger, west-suburban communities such as Edina, St. Louis Park, and Minnetonka.
Minnesota State Highway 7 and US Route 169 are 2 amongst the major arterial routes with regards to the city.
As per US Census Bureau, area of Hopkins on the whole is 10.6 sq. km; out of which none of the portions consists of water. With all this in mind, it needs to be noted that numerous tiny ponds exist on western side. There happen to be some creeks along the southern and northern side as well. Minnehaha Creek is one amongst such creeks.
