Lakeville is a suburb which is located to the south of downtown Minneapolis in Minnesota. This city is also one of the rapid growing cities in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area. The early settlers to this city were farmers. Officially it was incorporated as a city in 1967.
As of 2009, the population of Lakeville is 54,114 people. In 2006, it showed a population of 52,323 people. And compared to 2000 census of 43,128 people, it has had a population growth of 23.06 percent.
Lakeville climate is warm during the summer season with temperature reaching to 70 degrees and cold in winters with 10 degrees. This city gets 30 inches of rain and 43 inches of snowfall each year.
