The Minneapolis Institute of Arts is known as MIA. It is home to an outstanding gallery of impressionist paintings and also to Asian collections. This museum also has magnificent works by European and American artists including Picasso and Matisse. The mission of the museum is to enrich the community by preserving, collecting and also making accessible outstanding art works from the diverse cultures of the world. Moreover, the museum is the largest art educator of Minnesota.
