Minnesota State University is a public four year university which is situated in Mankato in Minnesota. The student body itself is the third largest in Minnesota having more than 14,800 students with the university twin cities campus ranking first. There is also a satellite campus in the Twin Cities. The President of the university is Dr. Richard Davenport with 600 full time faculties. The institution is the first public college in United States to be headed by a woman, suffragette, Julia Sears, in 1872. At present, MSU offers 158 undergraduate study programs, including 16 professional programs and 82 graduate programs.
