Minneopa State Park is a state park on the Minnesota River and is to the west of Mankato in Minnesota. The name of the park, Minneopa comes from the Dakota language and is integrated to mean water falling twice. This refers to the waterfalls of the Minneopa Creek. The park is perfect destination for hikers, scenic site seeing and cascades.
