Blue Earth County Heritage Center Museum is a historical museum which displays antiques, period furniture and photos. Hubbard House is a manor house with Neo Classical architecture built in 1871. The mansion has eighteen rooms and displays an 1873 pioneer home, cobbler and barber shops and a 20th century school house. One can try horseback riding at the carriage house next to the mansion. For nature enthusiast, visiting the Minneopa State Park is a must with its waterfalls, cascades and the limestone stairway leading to the valley below.
The park has a Seppmann Mill designed in typical German design made from lumber and native stone. There are hiking and picnicking opportunities at the park. Sibley Park is another garden with a botanical display and thirty varieties of birds and animals in it. The Underwater City is one of the prime tourist attractions in the crystal clear waters of the Minnesota River.
