The Frederick R. Weisman Museum of art is located in the university of Minnesota twin cities campus in Minneapolis. The museum’s current building is designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry and it was completed in 1993.The museum’s collection features early 20th century American artists such as Georgia O’Keeffe and Marsden Hartley. It is one of the major landmarks on the campus, situated on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River at the east end of the Washington Avenue Bridge. This museum is also often called as “MODERN ART MUSEUM “ and it has 20,000+ images and large collections of Marsden Hartley , Alfred Maurer, Charles Biederman, Native American Members culture pottery, and Korean furniture.
