The Minneapolis park system has been called the best-designed, best-financed, and best-maintained. The country’s oldest public wildflower garden, Eloise Butler Wildflower Garden and the Bird sanctuary are located within Theodore. The Minnehaha park is one of the city’s oldest and most popular parks, receiving 500,000 visitors each year.
