One can visit Minneapolis in the summer as well as winter, however, the peak season is from April to August when the weather is warm and one can indulge in outdoor activities. November to March is generally the low season; however, to beat the winter a 7 miles enclosed glass walkway system has been built here which connects to the various hotels and recreational venues of town. In winter one can participate in activities such as ice skating, skiing and ice fishing.
