St. Olaf College is a coeducational, and a residential, four year private liberal arts college. This college is situated in Northfield in Minnesota. Founded in 1874 by a group of Norwegian-American immigrant farmers and pastors, it was led by Pastor Bernt Julius Muus. It is named after Olaf II of Norway, a former king and patron saint of Norway. At present, there are 3,007 undergraduates.
