Northfield Park owns around 35 parks consisting of more than 400 acres of land, which is around 1.6 square kilometers. Three of the parks have facility of picnic shelters. The Streets, parks and the facilities division is accountable for maintaining of park facilities, mowing, landscaping and structures. There are also tours and trails to the numerous parks. The City of Northfield Park and Recreation Advisory Board advise the staff and the officials with right to the public parks system and the public recreational facilities in the city.
