Winnewissa Falls is situated at the Pipestone National Monument and the name translates to “jealous maiden” from the Sioux language. This waterfall has height above sea level of 518 meters. Such falls is situated in the Pipestone National Monument Park. The Dakota Sioux Indians consider the falls as sacred and very spiritual. The Winnewissa Falls are also worshipped till day by some Native Americans.
