Tettegouche State Park is a Minnesota State Park situated on the north shore of Lake Superior and is northeast of Duluth in Lake County. Its name stems from the Tettegouche Club, an association of local businessmen, who had purchased the park in 1910 from the Alger-Smith Lumber Company. This 9,346 acres park contains around six inland lakes, four waterfalls and also a beach on Lake Superior. The park has 22 miles of hiking trails, access to the Superior Hiking Trails and 12 miles of Ski trails.
