General opinion:  Sleepy Eye is a city situated in Brown County in Minnesota in U.S.A. The city covers a total area of 2 sq miles and had a population of 3,515 as per the 2000 census. The city is blessed with a rich agricultural land and supports several agricultural businesses.
The city offers a variety of retail shops, shops selling antiques, souvenirs and other specialty shops. In July and August annual events such as 4th of July celebration and Buttered Corn Days is held where fireworks are displayed as well as steamed corn dipped in butter is given for free respectively.
The city ... More experiences a cold climate with 42 inches of snowfall and 29 inches of rain annually. There are 198 sunny days with July being the warmest month and January the lowest.
