The County of Hancock has a national reputation as a colony of arts and is like a historical centre. The county is the part of the national area of heritage of the coast of Gulf of the Mississippi, one of only 37 places in the country to receive a coveted designation. 'Our second Artwalk Saturday', is a tradition of Bay Saint Louis, attracting the crowd and is filled with enthusiasm around the area. The NASA John C. Stennis Space Center lies between Bay St. Louis and New Orleans. It is an active facility, and it tests and flight certifies the Space Shuttles' main engines.

A bus tour is arranged for the visitors for this facility. Buccaneer State Park and the water park is a wonderful place for enjoying with the family. The water park includes slides, a new a wading pool and water-wave pool. Outdoor enthusiasts have a lot of activities to enjoy here. They can set a camp and enjoy fishing. There are basketball and tennis courts as well. There are twelve miles of beaches along the Bay St. Louis 'coast.
