Attractions and Places to visit Greenville

The city is known for sport events like the Mississippi Miracles which was formerly known as the Mississippi Stingers. This is an American Basketball Association franchise in Greenville. There is the Nelson street which is a second historic marker designated by the Mississippi Blues Commission on the Mississippi Blues Trail. This was placed in from the Second Whispers Restaurant on Nelson Street in Grenville, which is a stop on the chitlin circuit in the early days of the blues.

Nelson Street was also the historic strip of blues clubs which drew crowds in the 1940s and 50s. Some of the great places to see in Greenville is the Old Number one Firehouse Museum. There are also some surrounding places to see like the Belzoni Ethel Wright Mohamed Stitchery museum where there are fabrics, costumes and textiles exhibitions and it is also a historical museum. Then, one can visit the Cottonlandia Museum which has industrial attraction and which is a factory museum.
