The Noxubee National Wildlife Refuge spans over an area of 48,000 acres and is located at distance of 13 miles from Starkville. The place is an outdoor paradise for nature lovers. The park is home to alligators, bobcats, red-cockaded woodpeckers and wild turkeys apart from the bald eagle the nation’s freedom symbol. Visitor can enjoy the many natural trails and bird watching activities here.
