Arnold is a city situated in Jefferson County in the state of Missouri in U.S.A. The city lies at the convergence of the Mississippi and Meramec rivers. As per the 2005 census the city has a population of 20,413 inhabitants, most of who are Whites. Thirty three percent of the residents are reported to have German ancestry while fifteen percent are reported to have Irish ancestry in the city.
Arnold is the largest city in the county and as per the Money Magazine; it was ranked as the 12th most affordable cities to live in U.S.A. It is also the 2nd fastest growing county in the state. There are a variety of dining, shopping and entertainment opportunities in this city. Arnold is the southern gateway to St. Louis which offers a range of entertainment such as casinos, museums and sports. The city has a continental climate with 9 inches of snowfall and 39 inches of rainfall annually. January is the coldest month and July the warmest.
