Branson Regional Airport is a privately developed and operated commercial airport in Branson. Opened in 2009, it is the first privately owned, commercial service airport in United States. However, it is yet to be officially named and at present is referred as Branson Airport. Prior to the construction of this airport, the closest commercial service airport was Springfield-Branson National Airport.
