Camdenton is a city situated in the Camden County of Missouri in U.S.A. The city covers a total area of 3.5 sq miles and has an elevation of 1,043 feet. As per the 2000 census the city had a population of 2,779 inhabitants, most of who were Whites. Camdenton has a mild and pleasant climate all throughout the year where one can enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, horse riding and more. The city gets 43 inches of rainfall and 17 inches of snowfall in a year on an average.
July is the warmest month and January is cold. The annual Dogwood Festival is a popular event which takes place in the month of April and includes fun for the entire family with its carnival, music, food and parades. The annual Crossover Christian Music Festival includes Christian rock and contemporary music and is held in the month of June. Several events are held on Lake Ozark throughout the year.
