Excelsior Springs Museum offers historical artifacts, quilting, weaving and museum displays. There are historical programs for schools and also for civic organizations. It includes tour of the museum and its surrounding sites. Galley has displays with works of local artists. The first president of this museum was Sam C Sherwood, a local realtor.
