Hannibal can be described as one of the cities located in Ralls and Marion counties in Missouri, US.
Hannibal lies at intersection of US Routes 61 and 36 and Interstate 72; at an approximate distance of 160 Km on the northern side of ‘St. Louis’.
In the year 2000, Interstate 72 got extended in to Hannibal; that too, across ‘Mark Twain Memorial Bridge’. Furthermore, Interstate 72 also extends west wards towards intersection with ‘US Route 61’. US Route 61 can be described as a 4-lane divided highway which goes on to connect to ‘Saint Louis’ towards the south. Moreover, it’s a portion of Avenue of the Saints Corridor which happens to link to ‘Saint Paul, Minnesota’.
As per US Census Bureau, area of Hannibal is 39.1 sq. Km; out of which 3.12%25 consists of water.
According to 2000 census, population of Hannibal was 17757. Its density had been 469.3 per sq. Km. per capita income had been $16902.
