The Independence Square is home to more than 30 retail stores and such restaurants. It even hosts many special events which are held throughout the year. Some of the event includes the SantaCaliGon Days held each Labor Day weekend. This square is situated between Noland Road to the east and White Oak to the North. This square was once home to many blacksmiths. At present, it is lined with antique shops and stores. There are also great boutiques here near the square. Further, the square is considered as the hub for historic Independence. This area is also one of the attractions for the tourist who visit the place whilst in the city.
