All the major attractions of the city are found in this part of town. It is home to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum, Horace M. Peterson III Visitors Center, Gem Theater, American Jazz Museum and the Blue Room Jazz Club. 18th and Vine District is also known internationally as the cradle of jazz and in the 1990s the film ‘Kansas City’ was filmed in this region.
