Uptown Theater can be described as one of the historic theaters located in Kansas City. In the year 1979, it got listed in ‘National Register of Historic Places’ in the form of ‘Uptown Building and Theater’. In the year 1994, UGA, LLC went on to purchase this theater for $7500. Thereafter, it underwent renovation of around $15. Banquet space was added to original 33000 sq. ft.
