Lebanon city is situated in Laclede County in Missouri. It is the county seat of Laclede County. Initially, Lebanon was known as Wyota, after the original Indian inhabitants of the area. Later on, it was named Lebanon after the hometown of a minister, Lebanon.
As per the 2000 census, the population of this city was estimated to be 12,155 people. By 2009, the population estimated to around 14,139 people.
As per the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.7 square miles, out of which, 13.6 square miles is land and 0.01 square miles is water.
