The beautiful Missouri Botanical Garden was founded in 1859 by Henry Shaw.
Within the area of 79 acres, magnificent gardens and rare collection of botanical, historical, and horticultural materials reside with architecturally significant building and inspirational fountains and statuary. Today, this garden is a National Historic Landmark, the oldest botanical garden in the United States and a world leader in botanical research.
The Missouri Garden feature gardens, modern and traditional and living collections of major groups of ornamental and practical plants.
