Makoshika Dinosaur Museum is situated in a historical building in downtown Glendive. Admission is free of charge and the museum is open all year round. A majority of the dinosaurs displayed in this museum are found in the Hell Creek formation and also throughout the world. The distance of this museum from Makoshika state park is approximately 1 mile. Here, there is an on-site working prep-lab to view the preparation of fossils.
