The Wahkpa chu’gn Archaeological Site is the best preserved and most extensive buffalo bone deposit in the Northern Great Plains. It is located on the road to North Central Montana in the shadow of the Bear Paw Mountains. This site overlooks the scenic River Milk on the Western periphery of Havre, Montana. This is not a sterile museum. The visitors actually view a 20 feet wall of arrowheads, buffalo skulls and buffalo bones.
