Livingston is a city situated in Montana, United States. It is also the county seat of Park County in Montana. This city is located in the southwestern parts of Montana and on the Yellowstone River, to the north of Yellowstone National Park.
The population of the city in 2000 was estimated to 6,851 people.
This city came into existence in 1882 when the Northern Pacific Railway was being planned. It was also a good place for railroad shops for servicing the steam trains.
The climate of Livingston is mild during the summer season when the temperature scores to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It is cold in winter when the temperature drops to 20 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest month of the year is the month of August with an average maximum temperature of 84.90 degrees Fahrenheit.
