Entertainment venues - Marias Valley Golf & Country Club is one such venue. There is a beautiful 18-hole course; located on the Marias River; which is about seven miles to the south of Shelby. There are tennis courts at AronowPark of Shelby. There are also ‘Horseshoe Pits’ present at ‘AronowPark’ of Shelby. “Lake Sheloole Sports Complex and Recreation Area” is situated at about one and a half mile north of Shelby. Five baseball fields, a swimming pool & camping sites are also there. Shelby Civic Center has several racquetball courts, basketball courts, weight room, cardio room, archery range, toddler room & teen center. For fishing; there is lake ‘Shel-oole’, ‘Marias’ river, lake ‘Elwell’ & lake ‘Frances’. Main monuments to be visited - ‘Mountain Rose Monuments’; ‘Pondera Funeral Home’; ‘Glacier Signs and Monuments’; and ‘Rockman Funeral Chapel’.
Town districts of special interest - ‘Kevin’ and ‘Sunburst’ are the two towns; which are located under the city, ‘Shelby’ and under the state of ‘Montana’. Main events taking place in the town - The most famous event in the town's history might be the ‘Jack Dempsey vs. Tommy Gibbons’ boxing match.
