Whitefish is a city in the United States in Montana State within Flathead County. The elevation of this city is 3,028 feet. The gross area of the city is 4.4 square miles out of which only 0.04 square miles is filled with water and the remaining 4.4 square miles is occupied by land. Whitefish is on the Western Side of the Continental Divide. The Glacier National Park is close to this city. The Whitefish Mountain Resort is a famous ski resort located in Whitefish. Air travel is possible from the Glacier Park International Airport. Regarding rail service, there is an Amtrak Station in Whitefish.
As per the 2000 census, the population of Whitefish is 5,032.
