The Big or Whitefish Mountain Resort is situated 60 miles towards the South of the Canadian border in the old railroad town of Whitefish. It is famous for unsurpassed views, abundant snowfall, snow ghosts and uncrowded slopes. There are 3,000 skiable acres, two high speed quad chairlifts, thirteen lifts and 93 marked runs. This resort is amongst the ten largest ski resorts in the U.S.
