Music is a way of life in Nashville. This is reflected in the CMA Music Festival and the towering Country Music Hall of Fame touching the Nashville skyline. Catch a show at the Tennessee Performing Arts Centre which also has the entertaining Nashville Ballet and the Nashville Opera.
The Tennessee State Fair is held here every September and includes rodeos, rides and many other events. The week-long Nashville Film Festival happens in the month of April.
The most famous attraction of the city is the Parthenon at Centennial Park, which is the full-scale reconstruction of the original structure in Greece. The building houses the Nashville Art Museum and a 12 m tall statue of the Greek goddess Athena. Also, visit the historic Fort Nashborough which overlooks the Cumberland River.
Spend a relaxing sunny day at the Nashville Zoo, or try your ice-skating prowess at the Centennial Sportsplex’s Ice Arenas to beat the summer heat.
