Beatrice is a place with several events like Monumental Fiddling Championship, Industry Day, 12th Night Celebration, Homestead Days, Heartland Storytelling Festivals and Speedway. Memorial Bridge dedicated in 1923, was a phenomenal accomplishment spanning the Piscataqua River and permanently linking Kittery, Maine with Portsmouth, NH. Begun at the close of "The Great War," the tallest lift bridge in the country was to be dedicated to soldiers from both states lost in the recent conflict. Monuments were planned for both areas.

The history of the town has been well documented and of special interest is the fact that Druidism, a religious faith of Celtic origin evidence exists in the form of Druid Circle where main events take place in the town. Elijah Filley Stone Barn is a local landmark which was built in 1874 to be a part of the farm for Elijah Filley his wife Emma and their two sons.
