Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer had been established in the year 1961 with the objective of preserving and portraying pioneer town builders’ inspiring era who have been credited for creating the 1st communities; as far as Nebraska is concerned. Stuhr Museum can be described as a nationally recognized cultural and educational institution; along with an ‘outdoor living history museum’.
