Attractions and Places to visit Lincoln

The focus of all attractions in the city is the Nebraska State Capitol Building, the pride of the state. The building’s interior is embellished with paintings, mosaics and murals, all depicting the history of Nebraska.

Trace the history of mammoths and much more by visiting the University of Nebraska State Museum. The Museum boasts of the world’s largest collection of mammal fossils.
The flora and fauna of the region can be admired at the Folsom Children’s Zoo and Botanical Gardens. It has about 300 exotic animals along with 7,000 annual flowers and 30 types of trees.

Lincoln is home to several parks, like the Iron Horse Park, which offer various activities such as golf, swimming, hiking, biking, trailing and trekking.
