Nebraska is located in the Great Plains of the USA. It is bordered by South Dakota in the north, Kansas and Colorado in the south, Wyoming in the west and Missouri and Iowa in the east. The Platte River also flows through the state. The land is divided into two regions: the Dissected Till Plains and the Great Plains.
It is a fun city to drive through and spend a couple of nights. Also the people in Omaha are a lot more freindly than some other cities. Another reason you should travel through or to Omaha is beacause they have a lot of live events and they host the College World Series every year, and who wouldn't want to miss that.
Omaha still the best well kept secret. Property taxes and gas taxes are some of the highest in the nation, despite many unique and positive attributes not found in other communities, both large and small. The only State in the nation to have a unicameral type of government.
