The city of Omaha is a haven for history lovers. They can visit the Joslyn Art Museum, Durham Western Heritage Museum, Holland Performing Arts Centre or Omaha County Playhouse to discover the cultural heritage and the historical background of Omaha. There are also a number of historic sites like the Fort Omaha Historic District, Gold Coast Historic District and so forth that are worth visiting.
