Scottsbluff can be described as a city located in County of Scotts Bluff, Nebraska, US.

Scottsbluff enjoys the pride for being the biggest city across County of Scotts Bluff. Moreover, it’s the twelfth largest city within Nebraska; along with being panhandle’s biggest city.

Scottsbluff was discovered in the year 1900 across ‘North Platte River’. A bluff that has now been developed in to a ‘National Park’ is known by the name ‘Scotts Bluff National Monument’. Gering, a petite town, had been discovered on the southern side of the river. Since then, 2 cities, i.e. Scottsbluff and Gering have grown together; so as to form seventh biggest urban area all over Nebraska.

As per US Census Bureau, area of Scottsbluff is 15.4 sq. Km; out of which 0.67%25 consists of water. Just like the other cities of States; July is the hottest month; whereas January the coolest.

Population of Scottsbluff as per 2000 census was 14732.
