Governor's Mansion was built between 1908 and 1909. At that time, the land where the mansion stands was offered by Mrs. T.B. Ricket for ten dollars. This mansion was designed by George A. Ferris and the construction bid was awarded for 22,500 dollars. The first occupents of the mansion were Acting Governor Denver Dickerson and his family. The mansion was open for public view in 1910. The displays of the museum include the architectural designs of the mansion
