The Nevada State Museum is housed in a beautiful restored 19th century building and has some permanent displays on Nevada history. This museum even hosts the national and international exhibits and rotates its present exhibitions for the visitors. The museum hosts more than 250,000 visitors each year and some of the major exhibits include the Dat So La Lee Washoe Indian baskets and a good collection of old coins.
