The Nevada State Railroad Museum preserves the Nevada railroad history and this includes locomotives and cars of the popular Virginia and Truckee Railroad and other railroads of the State. A lot of the vehicles are bought from Hollywood studios, where they are in demand in television shows and movies. Some of the museum activities include operation of historic railroad equipments, changing exhibits and many such special events.
