Incline Village-Crystal Bay is a census-designated place (CDP) in Washoe County, Nevada on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. The population was 9,952 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Reno-Sparks Metropolitan Statistical Area. Sierra Nevada College's main campus is located in the Incline Village. Incline Village-Crystal Bay is located at 39.2282, -119.9509 and the elevation is 6,250 feet (1,910 m). The town rests on the northern shore of Lake Tahoe. According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 50.4 square miles (130.6 km²), of which, 28.9 square miles (74.8 km²) of it is land and 21.5 square miles (55.8 km²) of it (42.72%) is water. As of the census of 2000, there were 9,952 people, 4,176 households, and 2,735 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 344.6 people per square mile (133.1/km²). There were 7,664 housing units at an average density of 265.4/sq mi (102.5/km²). The racial makeup of the CDP was 90.97% Whites, 0.46% African American, 0.59% Native American, 1.57% Asian, 0.16% Pacific Islander, 4.34% from other races, and 1.91% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 12.13% of the population.
