Tourist Guide Las Vegas:

Las Vegas is a famous city which is known as a hub of gambling, entertainment and shopping. Most of the tourists visit Las Vegas to gamble in large number of casinos.

This place, located in Clark County of Nevada State in United States, used to be nothing but a desert for many years. Soon the deserted place started making a mark as the biggest center of gambling.

The city features hundreds of magnificently structured casinos. Some of the casinos are extremely popular and are visited by millions of tourists every year.

The economy of this city is mainly based on gambling and tourism. Large numbers of companies have tied up with casinos in Las Vegas, to whom they provide latest gaming machines. It is a huge business over there.

As mentioned above, Las Vegas is a desert area. Hence, it experiences a scorched desert climate. Summers are extremely hot and dry, while the winters are mild. The precipitation quantity is less.

Visited Las Vegas from Australia during September 2012. Even though it was hot this didn't stop us enjoying ourselves during the day. The evenings were cooler and very enjoyable as everything became lit up. the shows were great, the accommodation excellent and the whole atmosphere very good. Having our own transport made a big difference giving us the opportunity to get out to see more than the normal tourist attractions. The major hotels were great to visit, especially at night. All in all it was a great experience and we will return to finish off all the places we were unable to visit owing to lack of time.

There’s never a bad time to plan a trip to Sin City! Las Vegas getaway itineraries can include captivating performances by Cirque du Soleil, beautifully luxurious lodging accommodations, molecular cuisine, award winning wines, and Michelin star chefs.

NOT a "fun" place to visit! Very expensive; not safe; difficult to get around in.
